About Us

Pin Foundations, Inc. is a small business that designs and manufactures high-tech, low-impact foundation products manufactured in the United States. Pin Foundations, Inc. is an innovative, dynamic, and rapidly expanding company poised for continued growth. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to represent product development for our East Central territory region, covering Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. This role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities typical for small businesses. The position offers remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the deck construction industry and looking to work with a quality manufacturer
  • Able to articulate real construction applications to professional builders
  • Experience with construction projects, customer service, troubleshooting construction applications, and solving problems with good communication skills
  • Must have the physical ability to install our product in demonstrations and presentations for builders, lumber yards, and distributor personnel
  • Regional travel required with overnight stays (expenses paid)

Responsibilities

  • Assist distributor salespeople in developing market share in their territories
  • Develop strong working relationships with distributor salespeople
  • Generate pull-through efforts with key local builders
  • Schedule distributor ride along’s to create retail store development with pull-through sales efforts.
  • Provide first-time installation training and help develop key customers
  • Assist in marketing research efforts and coordinate with local digital marketing efforts
  • Attend local trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Provide market data and information feedback
  • Manage local warranty claims and if needed, coordinate, and assist with repairs.
  • Assist the local market in any warranty application process (Help Filling Out Forms Etc.)
  • Assist in the processing of co-op advertising claims for the distributors
  • Assist as needed with national trade shows or a focused sales blitz in another territory
  • As requested, support the overall efforts of Pin Foundations, Inc.
  • Assist as needed with local distributor reviews
  • Assist as requested with any administrative duties
  • Participated in companywide meetings
  • Develop new skills and adopt new methodologies as the job requires them

Education/Experience

  • (3) Three years construction or building material sales experience
  • Must be proficient with necessary computer skills
  • Microsoft software environment including the SharePoint platform, Microsoft office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Exhibits interpersonal relationships with honesty and integrity conducive to the position
  • Must have good organizational and communication skills and be able to interrelate with coworkers, customers, and vendor partners
  • Experience in building material, manufacturing, and distribution logistics is helpful
  • Decks and outdoor projects construction and carpentry experience preferred
